Safely Building Infrastructure Takes A Total
Team Effort
(3rd Quarter 2009)
|
A Message From |

Leo A.
Vecellio, Jr.
Vecellio Group, Inc. President, Chairman
and CEO |
Building and maintaining transportation
infrastructure takes a total team effort. So does keeping
everyone safe in and around our job sites.
We applaud the efforts of our operating units for keeping their
focus on safety and reaching impressive safety milestones.
We can’t do it alone, however. We also call on the traveling
public to take seriously the obligation we all share to drive
cautiously around road construction work.
Employee safety training and maintenance of traffic programs are
designed to protect workers and the traveling public. And they
will — if motorists will drive with caution and awareness as
they pass road improvement projects.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and families of
needless work zone tragedies as America builds and maintains its
critical transportation infrastructure.
Drivers everywhere, you’re part of the team, too.
We need you to be cautious and alert
as you proceed through road construction zones!
