Vecellio Group Moves Up To #157 On ENR's "Top
400 Contractors" List
(4th Quarter 2009)
| |
Within its contracting sectors,
the Vecellio
Group is ranked among
"The Top 25 In Transportation," "The Top 20 In Airports," and
"The Top 25 In Highways."
|

|
Vecellio Group,
Inc. consistently appears in the top half of Engineering
News-Record's annual "Top 400 Contractors" list and the rankings
for 2009, published in the magazine's Sept. 14th issue, were no
exception. Based on 2008 contracting revenues, the Group moved
up to
#157.
Contracting
revenue came mostly from transportation-related construction by
Vecellio & Grogan and its Sharpe Bros. division in the
mid-Atlantic states, and from Ranger Construction Industries'
three divisions in northeast, central and southeast Florida.
Also contributing to
the
Group's rank was its energy division,
Vecenergy, with
industrial/petroleum operations in South Florida and beyond.
The publication
also included specialty lists that highlighted the Vecellio
Group's stature within its contracting sectors, ranking it among
"The Top 25 In Transportation," "The Top 20 In Airports," and
"The Top 25 In Highways."
In addition to
its contracting services, the Group includes substantial
limestone mining operations at White Rock Quarries in Miami.
Revenues from those operations were not included in the data
used by ENR.
