Ranger South Finishes Site Work For Vecenergy’s Petroleum Terminal At Port Everglades

Vecenergy petroleum tank at Port Everglades, interior viewRanger Construction’s South Division is nearing completion on the site work and paving for Vecenergy’s new petroleum terminal at Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

The facility, scheduled to open in February 2009, has 12 storage tanks totaling 1.35 million barrels (56.7 million gallons) of bulk fuel capacity. Several tanks have an internal, floating “roof within a roof” to directly cover the petroleum product regardless of product level within the tank.
