Earlier in 2011 Vecenergy purchased two other Chevron terminals located in Alabama and Georgia. Vecenergy designs and constructs terminals as well, including two major facilities it owns and operates at the Port of Palm Beach and Port Everglades in South Florida. Together, its five terminals have a capacity of more than 2.1 million barrels.

Vecenergy also provides offloading services for petroleum products at Port Everglades, and has interests in advanced biofuel feedstock development and production technology.
