Polymer, ‘GTR’ Tanks Expand Product Line At South Florida Materials
(3rd Quarter 2011)

Opened as a liquid asphalt terminal in 2004, South Florida Materials Corp. was the original facility of the Vecellio Group’s energy division, Vecenergy.

The terminal added diesel tanks a few years later and more recently, began offering Polymer Modified Asphalt (PMA) and Asphalt Rubber Binder (commonly called “GTR” or ground tire rubber) to expand its product line.

South Florida Materials is located in the Port of Palm Beach.
